Ryan Barnes is the Memphis Business Development Manager for Intermodal Cartage Co. He has been with IMCG since 2010. Prior to being promoted to Business Development manager in 2014, he completed the IMC Management Training Program in 2011 and was a Customer Service Specialist. He is responsible for maintaining long term value for the organization from customers, markets and relationships and also helps runs the Management Training Program. Ryan has also helped build an internal matchbox application to increase utilization of equipment, decrease empty miles and increase revenue. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance from the University of Memphis. He has been in the World Trade club since 2011 and is excited about becoming a more active member. Ryan is a native Memphian and is passionate about the impact that the logistics industry has on the city. He has been married to his wife, Jennings, for three years and they are expecting a baby boy in January. In his free time he enjoys playing golf and fishing.
Daniel Booth, 34, is a Worldwide Account Manager and Licensed U.S. Customs Broker at FedEx Trade Networks Transport & Brokerage, Inc. headquartered in Memphis, TN. Daniel joined FedEx Trade Networks in August 2012 and prior to that was with C.H. Robinson Worldwide for 6 years. With both companies, Daniel has gained expertise in various supply chain & logistics sectors, both domestic and international, as well as international compliance. He has won several internal awards at FedEx including Premier Club, Ambassadors Club, and UBUNTU Champion which are among the highest accolades given to sales professionals at FedEx. He is also an alumnus of The Freight Transportation Leadership Academy at The University of Memphis.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the Croft Institute at the University of Mississippi. While at the University of Mississippi Daniel was also a student-athlete and 4-year letterman on the men’s football team.

Amanda Coates, Sales Account Representative for Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC USA) has served the maritime industry with MSC for over 13 years. Within the last two years Amanda has become more involved with the MWTC and would enjoy being further assistance to the community by serving on the Board of Directors.
Amanda grew up in Pensacola, FL and studied business at Pensacola State College. After moving to New Orleans and studying health science, she placed her studies on hold to pursue her passion in Global Logistics. The Maritime industry has a unique way of captivating people, often drawing them closer to overcome the day to day encounters in logistics. These challenges keep Amanda engaged with ever changing market conditions, which cultivate self-motivation and innovation. Within the last 13 years, Amanda has successfully managed multidepartment teams, assisted with the start-up and growth of new services to and from the Gulf, specifically New Orleans and Mobile. As a proud New Orleanean, Amanda prides herself in expanding the Imports and Exports of the Gulf and Mid South Regions for long term sustainability. Amanda has been involved with Operation Smile Charity for three years, assisting with organization of a successful golf outing which has raised nearly 50,000.00 in charitable contributions for Operation Smile.
Outside of the professional environment Amanda enjoys traveling to the gulf coast, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family. Her most rewarding accomplishment, being an inspirational mother of an eight year old determined and charismatic daughter.
Through extensive experience in Documentation processes, Equipment management, Intermodal logistics, Terminal and Vessel operations, and Commercial matters, she carries an insightful variety of expertise and innovation to the transportation industry with hopes to do the same with the Memphis World Trade Club.
Stuart Leslie brings over 12 years of hands - on experience in International and Domestic Transportation and a long history of coaching and mentoring to the Vaco family. As Stuart says, “I’ve always loved the complexity and creative thinking logistics requires but I’m even more passionate about helping people find the career they love; working with the Vaco Logistics team allows me to experience the best of both worlds. Stuart has grown his career over the last several years and worked with some of the key players in the industry. He’s worked in import and export operations and both international and domestic transport. His strong background in compliance and operational management allows him to really connect with candidates and clients and ensure that every candidate he works with has, not just the required skills for the job, but goals and aspirations that are a good match for the client’s team. His goal isn’t to get someone the right job; it’s to get them to the next opportunity that will allow them to realize their full potential and create the life and career they dream of.
In addition to passions for logistics and recruiting, Stuart is a lifelong soccer player and loves to coach and train new players. In mentoring young players he discovered his passion for helping people grow and discover that there are no limits to their own potential. It’s this drive and excitement he hopes to instill in the candidates he partners with in his work at Vaco.

Current 2016 Board Member for the Memphis World Trade Club. A graduate of The University of Memphis with a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and currently holds the position of Vice President of Global Operations at Dunavant Logistics Group, LLC. His current role is to provide leadership to a rapidly growing import and export NVOCC division, contract negotiation and pricing, international customer service, and overseas offices, while also holding a U.S Customs Broker License. Overall, David has 13+ years of domestic and international supply chain operations experience, over 8 years with Dunavant, and previous roles here in Memphis at United Parcel Service and Schneider National. He is a graduate of the Freight Transportation Leadership Academy, at the University of Memphis, and currently enrolled in the Transportation Master’s Program at the University of Denver. David is an avid supporter of all things Memphis – local business, transportation and watching Memphis Tigers and Grizzlies in his free time, along with being nominated as one of ten top Young Memphians in the Greater Memphis Chamber's 2015 Crossroads Magazine "Young Memphis" edition.
